Arrival Condition: She has no injuries however her right leg is a mechanical prosthetic from the knee down. She maintains it herself.

Acts:
Amanda acts impulsive, she doesn’t leap before she looks, but she might build something just to see if she can make it fly. She likes a good challenge and that goes for racing as much as drinking or even fighting. She’s no slouch in hand to hand even if she isn’t a guardian. She’ll stand up to people she knows can outlast and out do her and still hold her ground. When it comes to the pace of life Amanda likes speed, she hates waiting, she’ll find and give herself busy work if there’s nothing else at hand to do. She might even tune up her leg or start rewiring things to make them work better so it’s generally best to keep her busy most of the time. If she is faced with down time she fidgets if idle too long just due to not really having ever been able to be idle long in her life. She grew up having to be wary of not moving, it was dangerous to set up camp for too long any one place and made targets of the refugees. She can often be seen fiddling with things or cracking her knuckles, or handling her tools.

Thinks:
Her head is kinda a mess to be honest, though her logic is tempered with experience and years of watching people die. She knows that you have to make decisions based on the good of the majority but sometimes that means losing the few and those few can be the ones that hurt the most. Pain of loss and anger shape her views sometimes and they can color them pretty sharply. She went to some dark places after the Red War and after losing some people she cared for, she wanted vengeance not justice. She wanted blood. It’s taken her a long time to come down from that and be able to forgive herself for not being able to do anything or others for not helping more. Every life lost should mean something in her eyes and even if it is a numbers game survival should never be at the cost of losing humanity.

Amanda is evolving where she’s at right now, coming into a lighter place and being happier. She's carrying that with her from home, but there will be some lingering moments of her earlier thoughts on how to treat others that might come up depending on what they run into.

Feels:
She’s surprisingly optimistic and cheerful... with a sarcastic streak. She’s always happy to help but expect to get some side looks or jokes sent your way if she has something to say about what it is you are asking of her. She’s always made friends easy because she seems like such an open person, the truth is that’s surface level. She can be friends with anyone but deep down she doesn’t let a lot of people in. She’s scared to, she’s lost most of the people she’s ever really cared about and until she reached the city and started meeting guardians she’d lost everyone and everything she’d ever loved. Guardian’s don’t die, that was the only reason she was able to get close to people like Ikora, Zavala, Cayde-6, Banshee-44, and, well, things happened that shook her there too.

If you make it past the initially stand offish protective layer Amanda gets attached and cares deeply once she lets someone in. She has said on more than one occasion how she considers Ikora and Zavala her family now, and she’d do whatever it takes to protect them, and she’s no guardian. She can’t come back like they can if she dies, but she’d willingly put herself in harm's way to protect or help them.


Abilities: Ace pilot, Golden age tech, alien tech, she can read, use and interpret just about anything from organic to crystalline to standard human. She's a hell of a mechanic and can repair things, merge tech types (has blended alien and human ship tech) regularly builds whole ships and sparrows (small single person speeder style transports)
